Australia Loves Baking Launches Just In Time For Christmas

Australia, get ready to get baking! Australia Loves Baking is set to launch on 1st of December and it has never been easier to create baked goods with the read-to-go boxes available for delivery across the country, just in time for Christmas. The boxes will offer seasonal, classic and themed baking recipes.

With a mission to help people feel confident in creating baked goods and teaching children kitchen basics, Australia Loves Baking makes it easy with a recipe card and QR code for a ‘how to’ video. The dry and ambient ingredients are locally sourced and already weighed and measured. Ingredients will include indigenous spices and freeze-dried fruits. The only thing that the bakers may need to add are eggs.

Aside from the ingredients, all the boxes will come with everything the bakers need, from piping bags to silicone moulds, cake boards to greaseproof paper.

Australia may be opening up, but getting into the kitchen and conjuring up delicious eats is something no one should give up.

Created in the UK during the first lockdown of 2020 when ingredients were scarce, the Loves Baking brand has gone from strength to strength, selling over 15,000 boxes. The baking box business expanded to Ireland and sells wholesale to the US, and now it is coming to Australia with Australia Loves Baking.

Australia Loves Baking is not a subscription service, customers simply buy what they want, when they want. From basic bread to fancy focaccia, afternoon teas to boozy cakes, everyday biscuits to macarons, as well as dedicated kids’ boxes.

The Australia Loves Baking launch range is ideal for Christmas with yuletide bakes to suit people of all ages:

  • Biscuits Baking Box – Chocolate Dipped Shortbreads with free Santa chef hat, $39
  • Single Brownie Baking Box – Triple Chocolate Brownies, $39

Founders and brothers Greg and Mark Wixted have always worked in the food industry, with Greg managing operations of Britain Loves Baking and Mark running one of NT’s fastest growing food businesses Wixted Catering PYT.

“We are really excited to be launching Australia Loves Baking,” said Mark. “Where possible our ingredients are locally sourced, and we are using some indigenous spices in the recipes.”

“We hope that we can not only help people in the kitchen to create delicious treats for Christmas and more baked goods into the future, but also help the community with ongoing donations. One thing I hope we have all learned from the last two years is that is it is important to give back.”

Australia Loves Baking will donate $2 for each box sold to Beyond Blue as well as 10% of profits given out yearly as grants to schools and charities that will help disadvantaged children learn to bake for themselves.

In addition to the charity donations, Australia Loves Baking will implement its Mindful Box Initiative, where customers can nominate people that deserve a baking box and for every 10 boxes sold, one nominee will be sent a Mindful Baking Box. The aim is to help people have something therapeutic and relaxing to do while enjoying tasty treats at the end.

Australia Loves Baking is set to get people excited about baking again this Christmas, making it easier than ever before.
