Ealing based Britain Loves Baking an online baking recipe kit producer and retailer has just launched a new fresh cakes & afternoon tea events business, Cakery Wonderland.

 And to celebrate residents of the borough can drop by their new Cakery on Minerva Rd and pick-up a box of their delicious Wonderland Afternoon Tea and a bottle of their new Homemade Iced Tea for just £5. (Normally £17.50). This mouth-watering offer runs until Monday from 10 am till 8pm.

The idea was the brainchild of founder Greg Wixted has been working over the past 4 months with his baking team to create an array of yummy afternoon delights. Over 1,000 people have tested their afternoon teas at various events and festivals, they are now available to send nationwide, making them the perfect gift for loved ones from afar.

Cakery Wonderland is the first new business created to help drive the local economy by incubating new business ideas and providing them with space and access to the infrastructure and local supply chain Britain Loves Baking has built up over the last two years.

Speaking about the new venture to Ealing News, founder Greg Wixted said  “when we took the decision to start to incubate new purpose driven ideas, we wanted to not only create delicious baking ideas that taste good, but we want them to do good and have a purpose.

So, 5% of our revenue will go to food charities to help those in need and 10% will into a fund to help disadvantaged young people turn their big food ideas into a reality. So, we can help create a future where nobody goes hungry”.

“Ealing is our home and wanted to share this launch with the residents and who doesn’t love a spot of afternoon tea and we don’t have enough space to invite 1,000 people around for tea so this is the next best thing we could think of !”
